How to find us

Look for “Smash Burger” opposite “Sainsbury’s Local”, to the right there is a black door which opens into an alley. At the end of the alley there are some stairs on the left leading up to the flat, just infront of the café garden. 

Parking 

We try to find free parking in the residential roads behind the high street, about 5-10 min walk away. If you are happy to pay. there is a public car park very close to the flat on Gladstone Road. There are some loading bays just a few metres away which we use to drop of luggage if we have more than we can easily carry.

We have a self check in system, the key safe code will be sent 24 hours before your arrival.

Heating

At the top of the stairs, beside the bathroom door is the heating thermostat. Switch it up to 18 - 20 degrees depending on how much you feel the cold. Please remember to switch it back to 8 degrees when you leave. If you need additional heating there is an electric radiator available (contact us if you need it).

Our favourite restaurants / pubs

Sea Farmer’s Dive Taproom – great range of locally brewed beers on the beach, our personal favourite Oyster Stout. Dog friendly, great atmosphere, log burner in the winter, beer garden in the summer.

Porto Wine Bar – charming place, with a great selection of wines. Either pre dinner or post dinner and then you might want to try the port flight with a selection of cheeses. Book in advance as loved by all.

Woodfire Kitchen – great wood fired pizza, slow cooked lamb is another favourite. Relaxed atmosphere, reasonab;y priced.

Lazy Lobster - small plates, our favourite is the fish burger and some truffle chips. If you like oysters they often have some great combinations on offer. 

Ossies Fish and Chips - what's not to love about the traditional fish and chips by the seaside.

4. Check in time after 3pm

7. Damage – please report any damage or malfunction to the host right away so we can
